The IQspiro digital spirometry system provides simple and effective testing for many pulmonary diseases, including asthma, cystic fibrosis and COPD. The spirometer is ergonomically designed to promote correct patient positioning, giving more accurate readings.
It includes a rubber shield that holds the disposable mouthpiece in place and protects the non-disposal parts from patient saliva. Designers also created an eject button that allows health care providers to discard used mouthpieces directly into the trash without touching them. Both of these hygienic improvements cut down on infections and promote a higher level of patient safety.
The spirometer is lightweight, easy to carry, use and store, and includes plug ‘n’ play technology, allowing it to be plugged directly into any laptop. This allows hospitals, small clinics and private health care providers to use the latest technology with increased mobility and space efficient storage options. By creating what is essentially a mobile hospital, the manufacturer opens the door for advanced care in places that did not have the option previously.
