Christie Wrights "Therapeutic Series" explores the properties of ceramics in all its dimensions and in ways never before seen. She relates this research back to the positive effect those properties (Heating, diffusing, massaging, cooling, growing) can have on the human body. Stylistically, her work expresses a poetic, energetic and contemporary vision that is rarely seen in the world of ceramic product design.

"Hybrids of protective armor, high fashion, and “home-grown” medical devices, this series of products utilizes the therapeutic properties of clay. Items include a heated Utility Belt, an aromatic Shoulder Bouquet, massaging Wheel Heels, porous Cooling Caps, a warming Solar Shawl, and a glow in the dark Sinus Mask."
